Let an agent fix a server, and undo the step
An agent can fix a server for you without ever holding its keys, and every change it makes can be taken back.
Agent-safe SSH lets Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI work on the servers you choose through Termiyo (MCP), without ever holding your keys, your passwords or the server’s address. You approve each command, and Termiyo keeps a copy of the files a step will change, so you can put them back. Use it when you want an agent to fix a server and still decide what runs. Undo does not reverse a restarted service or an installed package.
Your agent asks, you decide, and Termiyo keeps a copy of what it is about to change. The agent never gets your keys, your passwords or the server’s address: Termiyo connects and signs for it.
Steps
Choose the servers agents may use
Open Settings › AI and go to “Agent-safe SSH (MCP)”. Tick “Let AI agents use Termiyo (MCP)”, then tick each server under “Hosts agents may use”. A server that is not ticked does not exist for an agent.
Connect your agent with one press
Under “Connect an agent with one press”, press “Connect” beside Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI. Termiyo adds itself with the agent’s own command and shows exactly what it ran; “Undo” there takes it out again. The connection keeps working after Termiyo restarts.
Approve what the agent runs
Ask your agent to fix something, in its own window. When it wants to run a command, Termiyo shows “An AI agent wants to use” the server, the exact command, and the files it will keep a copy of first. “Allow once” runs it; “Deny” refuses it.
Undo the step
While a step can be put back, the menu shows “Undo agent changes”. Open it, press “Undo this step”, read the difference between the file as it is now and as it was, and press “Put back files”.
Good to know
- Undo puts back only the files Termiyo kept a copy of. It does not undo a restarted service, an installed package or anything sent to another machine, and the step says so.
- You can also connect an agent from the in-app browser’s “Connect an AI agent”, or copy the lines Termiyo shows under “Show how to connect Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI”.
Transcript
An agent can fix a server for you without ever holding its keys, and every change it makes can be taken back.
In Settings, under AI, let agents use Termiyo, and tick the servers they may use. An agent sees nothing else.
Connect your agent with one press. Termiyo shows exactly what it ran.
When the agent wants to run a command, you see the exact command, and the files kept safe, first. Allow once runs it; Deny refuses it.
Changed your mind? Undo the step, read the difference, and put the file back exactly as it was.
