Your servers on every computer

Set up a server once and have it on your laptop and your desktop, without trusting anyone with your passwords.

Sync keeps your Termiyo servers, logins, keys and snippets the same on every computer you sign in on. Records are encrypted on your computer before they are sent, so the server holds ciphertext, never a hostname, a password or a key. Use it when you work on more than one computer. Sync is part of the paid plans, and signing out leaves your servers where they are.

Sign in, and Termiyo keeps your vault the same on every computer you sign in on. Records are encrypted on this machine before they are sent: the server holds ciphertext, never a hostname, a password or a key.

Recorded in Termiyo signed in to a test account on a test server running on the recording machine. No real account appears.

Steps

  1. Create an account or sign in

Open Settings › Account. Sign in, or press “Create one instead” and choose an email and a password.

  2. Let it sync

Settings › Sync shows when it last synced and how much went each way. It syncs on its own — when you sign in, when you unlock, and every few minutes; “Sync now” is for when you do not want to wait.

  3. Sign in on your other computers

Install Termiyo on the next computer and sign in with the same account: your servers, logins, keys and snippets arrive there, and changes on either one reach the other.

Good to know

  • Sync is part of the paid plans. Signing out leaves your servers on this computer.

Set up a server once and have it on your laptop and your desktop, without trusting anyone with your passwords.

Create an account, or sign in: one account for every computer you use.

It syncs on its own, and everything is encrypted on this computer before it is sent.

Sign in elsewhere, and the same servers, logins and keys arrive.
