The Getting started checklist

See what Termiyo can do for you that you have not switched on yet, and switch it on without hunting through Settings.

The Getting started checklist is a row in Termiyo’s menu that lists what you have not switched on yet — notifications, Agent-safe SSH, CI/CD, two agents at once — says what each one does, and lets you switch most of them on in place. An item ticks itself only when the feature is really on. Use it after the first-run setup, to find what else Termiyo can do for you.

After the first-run setup, the menu keeps a “Getting started” row with how much is done. Each item says what it does for you, and most can be switched on right there. An item ticks itself only when the feature is really on, not when you press its row.

Steps

  1. Open the checklist

Press “Getting started” in the menu. The list is in two parts, “Setup” and “Milestones”, each with how many are done.

  2. Read what an item does

Press an item — “Turn on notifications”, “Connect CI/CD”, “Run two agents at once” — and what it does, and how it is turned on, appears beside the list.

  3. Switch it on in place

Most items have their switch or button in place: “Turn on Agent-safe SSH” has its box, “Connect an agent to Termiyo’s browser” has the setup to copy. The item ticks and the count goes up when the feature is on.

Good to know

  • “Hide checklist” takes the row out of the menu for good; everything in it stays where it lives, in Settings and the menu.

See what Termiyo can do for you that you have not switched on yet, and switch it on without hunting through Settings.

Getting started, in the menu, lists what is left to set up, and keeps count.

Press an item, and it says what it does for you, and how it is turned on.

Most items switch on right there. The item ticks, and the count goes up, once the feature is really on.
